Nannies

All nannies must meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Possess a valid driver's license and have their own transportation.

• Provide contactable references for the agency and families.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of childcare experience (excluding care for related children).

• Have at least one year of professional experience (such as in daycare, as a nanny, in teaching, etc.).

• Be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification within 30 days of their start date.

Complete background checks include the following:

• National Sex Offender Search

• Motor Vehicle Search: Reviews the applicant's driving history for the past 3 years, checking for tickets and accidents.

• Social Security Trace: Verifies the social security number against the applicant’s name.

• Past Address History: Confirms all residences of the candidate for the past 7 years.

• Names and date of birth verification.

• Criminal Background Check: Checks criminal records in every county the candidate has lived in for the previous 7 years.

• National database criminal records search

• Global, US, & state watchlists

Background checks are conducted for every permanently placed nanny.
