As a premier nanny placement agency committed to matching families with ideal caregivers, we have developed a comprehensive and efficient process to ensure that both families and nannies are well-suited for each other. Our process is designed to be thorough yet streamlined, providing peace of mind to families and nannies alike.
Step 1: Family Registration Form
Families fill out the Family Registration Form. This questionnaire helps us understand the family's specific needs, preferences, and expectations regarding childcare.
The questionnaire covers aspects such as the desired schedule, the child's age and needs, household duties, preferred qualifications of a nanny, and any special requirements or considerations.
Step 2: Over-the-Phone Consultation
Once the family questionnaire is submitted, we schedule an over-the-phone consultation with the family.
During this consultation, we review the family's requirements and preferences, clarifying any details and addressing any questions or concerns the family may have.
The family pays the engagement fee to begin the candidate search. You can find out more about our fees here.
Step 3: Candidate Search and Review
Based on the information gathered from the family questionnaire and consultation, we begin the search for suitable nanny candidates.
Our extensive network and rigorous screening process enable us to identify candidates who meet the family's specific criteria and qualifications.
Each candidate's profile is carefully reviewed to ensure they possess the necessary experience, skills, certifications, and personality traits to be a successful match for the family.
Step 4: Schedule Interviews
Once potential nanny candidates have been identified and vetted, we coordinate interview schedules with the family.
We work closely with the family to arrange convenient interview times, taking into account their availability and preferences.
Interviews can be conducted in person or via video call, allowing the family to interact with and assess each candidate firsthand.
Step 5: Background and Reference Checks
Following the interviews, we conduct thorough background and reference checks on the selected candidate.
Background Checks Include:
National Sex Offender Search
Motor Vehicle Search: Reviews the applicant's driving history for the past 3 years, checking for tickets and accidents.
Social Security Trace: Verifies the social security number against the applicant’s name.
Past Address History: Confirms all residences of the candidate for the past 7 years.
Names and date of birth verification.
Criminal Background Check: Checks criminal records in every county the candidate has lived in for the previous 7 years.
National database criminal records search
Global, US, & state watchlists
Reference checks involve contacting previous employers to gather insights into the candidate's work ethic, reliability, and suitability for the position.
Step 6: Placement
Once the family has selected a nanny candidate whom they feel is the best fit for their needs, and the background and reference checks are complete, they're ready for placement.
Draft a contract, or our agency will assist you by providing a contract for you to customize based on your needs.
The contract should outline the agreed-upon terms and responsibilities, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding between both parties.
Upon reaching a satisfactory agreement, the family is required to pay the placement fee as per our agency's policy. This fee compensates us for our services in matching the family with a qualified nanny and guiding them through the placement process.
Our comprehensive process ensures that families are matched with qualified, trustworthy nanny candidates who meet their unique needs and preferences. By guiding families through each step of the placement process, we strive to facilitate successful and fulfilling childcare arrangements for all parties involved.
